Receptionist/Office Assistant
Summary: Provides reception and general office support by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Answer, screen and direct incoming calls, take messages as necessary
- Provide general information to callers
- Greet visitors and direct to appropriate individual or destination
- Receive and distribute all deliveries (must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds)
- General administrative and clerical support
- Receive, sort and distribute mail
- Maintain conference room calendars
Education/Experience/Qualifications
- High school diploma and 2 years of reception/administrative experience in an office setting is required.
- Previous experience in biotech/pharma a plus.
- Excellent computer skills; must be proficient in Microsoft office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Diplomacy when dealing with employees, visitors and the public
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be reliable, highly organized, take initiative, and possess a strong attention to detail.
- Must be adaptable and willing to take on new tasks and challenges in a growing and dynamic environment.
